The canteen dispenser on the left is an original from WHITE'S POTTERY COMPANY, and was made in Utica, New York in the 1890's. The other is a recent reproduction. Besides the original being slightly heavier and larger, the main visible differences are the neck size, handle shape and color.

I found the original being used as a lamp base, and it's still being used as a lamp base on my kitchen table.
